My rendition of Eric Carmen's classic 'All By Myself' was written in one day. I woke up in the morning on a Saturday, in my rented bedroom at my brother's house (divorce is lovely), and decided to give it a shot. Around 5pm I bounced it to a stereo wav file and called it good. Eric Carmen's original song is firmly cemented in my mind after listening to it during countless drives with my dad as a preteen. 'All By Myself' would blare through bass-less, 2 watt speakers on a soft rock AM radio station, in between other classics by air supply and neil diamond. Turn on your heartlight.
