GOEL is the Hebrew word for "Redeemer", or "Near-Kinsman". When an Israelite person was sold into slavery or happened upon tragedy and ruin, someone from their family would be able to buy them back or restore them again. Like the Biblical Ruth, I have found and met my GOEL, who has bought me back from slavery, tragedy and ruin and placed me in His family. I will be forever grateful!

"But as for me, I know that my REDEEMER lives. In the end, He will stand upon the earth." - Job 19:25
