Dave Power has been singing and playing guitar since the age of 10. In that time he has performed in a variety of different arenas from pubs to festivals, playing to crowds of up to 20000 people in Australia and the US, to nights of poetry, prose and music with the likes of Jeremy Irons and Neve Campbell. Dave has been a long-standing member of the Australian ska band "The Porkers" where he has played an important role in the song writing, arranging. recording and performing of projects since the early nineties as well as touring throughout Australia and abroad, most memorably, the Vans Warped Tour both in Australia and the U.S playing alongside such artists as Eminem, Ice T, Blink 182 and the Black Eyed Peas. In addition to this, Dave has worked on other recording projects with bands such as On Inc, Cranky and Belle Diva, as well as commercials for Royal Elastics and Fab Art. Some of Dave's tracks with the band "Bored of Education" were used for the "Digital Snowboard Magazine" DVD and the TV program "Cactus Garden". In early 2012, Dave along with long time friend and drummer Garrick Blow (Bored of Education) began recording a solo project “An Explainable Level” at Sound Heaven Studios in Wentworth Falls. The album consists of 13 songs written over the last 20 years covering a range of different styles and influences. Dave also has a degree in Music Education and teaches music in secondary schools.
