The CD Step into the light is by a new artist on the scene. EJ has poured a lifetime of experiences in this inspirational medley of songs. The tracks cover a wide range of musical likes from traditional gospel (Soldier, Strong enough) a Contemporary Christian style (Lord, your love is good enough, On my Knees), and even an R&B/ Pop/ Hip-Hop feel (Step into the light, The other side of the rainbow, Mountains, and Do Lord remember me). It also gives you some Latin, and a little Caribbean rhythm (Preludio no mas muriendoce, No more Dying, and I'll always love you). His message remains the same throughout the album. A North Carolinian native, Edward Jones (aka EJ) had a goal at the age of 5 of being on stage performing musically. Starting as a part of a church choir as a child in Goldsboro to adulthood, music has been a driving force in his life. He has had the opportunity in several venues to move hearts with his craft. Some of his musical accomplishments include: 1980-1984 Nightwind, multiple nightclub performances as singer/performer 1996 - 2003 "A Little Christmas Spirit", singer/actor/choir director 1997 - 1999 Hope For Kids; Hope Worldwide, singer/performer at fundraiser events. 1998 Duke Children's Classic - singer/performer 1998 "Be Still My Soul" CD, soloist/choir 1999 Miss North Carolina Beauty Pageant - singer/performer 2000 "Ain't Misbehavin' - Huntington Arts Council, West Virginia, singer/performer 2001 "A Little Christmas Spirit", CD, singer 2004 "3:30 Friday", singer/producer/song writer EJ started EJ Productions while living in Los Angles in 1990. He spent hours learning the trade with several of the local artists in various studios. After moving to North Carolina in 1992, he continued writing, arranging and producing music for local artists. For the past year and half, his main focus has been writing and producing his own CD - "Step Into The Light". He is using the talents God has given him to share his insights and convictions about God's unfailing love and the many blessings he has received.
