What’s magic about MCB? How we fit so much creativity, artistry and fun into five people. Blink and we pull another rabbit out of the hat. With a wealth of foot stomping, heart grabbing, thought provoking, and just darn good original material; MCB is a new band with over 100 years worth of live performances under our combined heels. Toss great vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, drums, bass, mandolin, pedal steel, flute, and percussion into the cauldron and MCB onstage is so spellbinding does it even matter what kind of music we play? Of course it does! We play some of the best original Americana, folk, country and light rock around. MCB is based in Sonoma County and comprised of: Michael Capella – Vocals, guitars, pedal steel Layne Bowen – Vocals, guitars, mandolin Linda Weber – Vocals, percussion, flute Kent Fossgreen – Bass Dan Ransford – Drums, percussion MCB is built to perform live and we worked hard to capture our live sound on this CD. This is a great mix of tracks that include only the instrumentation we use when we perform onstage. We made this CD as "live" as we could make them in our home studio!
