Marutyri is a Rotterdam based fusionband founded in september 2014. Half a year later, the band is releasing its second EP, called ''The Tribe''. The second song on the EP, ''Insanity'' features one of the best trombone players in the world: Ilja Reijngoud. This songs are written by Rik van der Ouw, except for Insanity by Rik van der Ouw and Ruud van Halder. The recordings are made completely live (no overdubs, except for the string quartet who recorded afterwards) and are filmed live in the WMDC-studio's in Rotterdam.
