Born in 1956 to King and Leola Butler in St. Petersburg., FL. Began playing guitar in 1970 locally. Was a member of the Washington Jam Band that had a No. 1 hit in 1976. A product of the Jimi Hendrix era his influence was evident in my music. Gifted with natural rhythms and an ear for music my influences range from George Benson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Chuck Loeb, and B.B. King. In fact audiences frequently remark about how I sound so much like Mr. King. My gift increased when I became a believer in the early nineties pledging to live a life honoring God.
