Jugo De Mango is the collaboration of two prolific Chicago songwriters: A. Perez, and J. Lugo. After spending a year honing their songs and reworking parts and lyrics, Jugo De Mango recorded this album in the Winter/Spring of 2010. With a focus on Caribbean dance music and Spanish/ Tropical groove, the duo completed and released the album under the Sonic Octopus imprint on Dilligaf? Records. "We grew up in a cultural melting-pot. Influenced by our culture and the diversity of our city" states Perez. The band, which includes D. Leiber on drums/percussion/vocals and R. Schoen on bass, resides in Chicago and performs and tours regularly at Festivals and concert venues. JDM looks forward to a tour in Latin America.
