Singer and poet, he is a master of the alliance of music and storytelling that is a reminicencent of the great Griot heritage. It is in Mali where he meet by chance Offering Recordings A&R and International DJ/ Producer Boddhi Satva. Idrissa performed on the spot a few cuts from his album and shall we say the rest is history. Before sun down Mr. Satva gave Idrissa his first album deal. With his charismatic presence and performances, he, narrates his pains, questions, observations through a very honest and cutting edge vision of Africa. Idrissa is an engaging militant for Africa and it's diaspora he is not about compromises and refuses any defeatism. Idrissa uses humor as the main tool to share his message to mankind. A strong defender of female rights, he says "I owe my survival to Woman who have crossed my path and supported me by giving me little jobs or just giving me access to food at the hardest times of my life". Idrissa is an engaging militant for Africa and it's diaspora. He is not about compromises and refuses any defeatism...
