I was given up for adoption as a baby. I later learned that my birth mother was not allowed to give me a hug before I was taken away from her. When I married my spectacular wife Viviane I became father to the handsome Chad and beautiful Janie. I am not their birth father and I am their father. When Chad and his wife Stephanie decided on a home birth I was thrilled. While Stephanie was in labor upstairs I played my guitar downstairs. For hours I allowed the music to stream forth spontaneously until suddenly I heard a little infant crying. It may seem silly to say, I began to weep also. In that moment I felt God was, once again, renewing what had been lost in my life. This album captures the melodic ideas and the emotional essence from little Alegria Marie's birth. I am honored and blessed to be her grand father. I give you "Sunrise".
