Springs is a band of world class musicians that like to make thoughtful, gorgeously-arranged alternative rock. For many years, Mike Visser sang and played guitar in a popular national touring act called FRANK JORDAN. In 2006, he moved to NYC and continued to write, playing solo shows all over town. His talents were recognized, and he was soon invited down to Philadelphia to participate in Weathervane Music's prestigious Shaking Through series. It was there that he met the rhythm section sibling team Eric and Julie Slick (Adrian Belew Power Trio, PAPER CAT). This sparked further recordings, and with the help of Scott McMicken (Dr. Dog), the first record was completed in 2012. Later that year they met vocalist/keyboard player Claire Wadsworth (C'est Claire) and the newly formed Springs came together and moved to Los Angeles.
