简介
Through the music that she writes, Audrey Bandley stands as an authentic source of strength and pure determination. Her lyrics resonate fearless truth. Her voice is backed by powerful sincerity. __________ Singer/songwriter Audrey Bandley was born in Burley, Idaho then, after moving ten times before the end of fifth grade, finally planted roots in Logan, Utah. She began her musical career at the ripe age of eight when the local church choir director invited her to begin singing amongst the ward choir. Growing up, she would often be found at any random piano she could find, attempting to teach herself how to play piano and studying the art of reading/writing music. It was at this young age that she knew she wanted to write gospel-oriented music to inspire people and put words to their feelings that are sometimes most difficult to express. Her first song, “If I’m Still” was written while she was still learning how to play the piano: plunking note after single note and handwriting them on a blank sheet of paper, then turning them over to friends who could read the music. This song went on to win 2nd place at an LDS Songwriter’s Workshop, and, in 2010, was turned into the title track of her debut album. The following year, her song “The One” was showcased on the EFY album, “Believe. Hope. Endure.” and was selected as a download now available on lds.org/youth. Her music has been tracked in 18 different countries throughout the world and various locations throughout the United States. She has enjoyed presenting firesides throughout Utah and Idaho. Her new EP, to be released November 2013, is centered around personal experiences. This new album is built upon opening the heart, encouraging personal reflection and honest acceptance of the natural inner hope that exists inside each and every soul. Aside from music, Audrey loves to spend her time cooking new made-from-scratch recipes (since she doesn’t believe in serving the same meal twice in one month), playing outdoors, going for long walks and reading.
