The originality of this artist is attributed to his diverse cultural background. Krishool will credit his abilities from his time as a young boy in the Australian Boys Choir and draws his flavour and break dancing skills from his birth country of Ghana, West Africa where he would emulate artists like Lionel Ritchie, Bob Marley and Michael Jackson.

Krishool grew to fame during Channel Nine's hit show, The Voice, where he was coached by will.i.am and he wowed judges with his soulful voice and energetic dance moves. Prior to this he was part of the well-established Melbourne boy-band Track 5, releasing ‘Crazy’ a Top 50 single on the Aria Charts. It had the longest running video clip in the top 10 on Channel V which lead them to tour Europe and release their promo album independently through Spin Music.
