Cinematic Volunteer: Cinematic Volunteer plays like an imaginary soundtrack. It has the duo's trademark sound but this one is more eclectic and perhaps more meditative. From groove oriented ethno- ambience to a more neo chamber feel. Vedvik's main musical partner and collaborator Martin Tillman, is a world-renowned Swiss born cellist. Tillman's acoustic and electric cellos can also be heard on many of Vedvik's recordings, including Slowdiver and Sutra Spin. They have worked together for nearly twenty years. Vedvik and Tillman wrote several cues for the Michael Mann film "Ali". Their music has also been used on several TV programs including the Olympics. Tillman's cello is featured extensively on the score of Black Hawk Down, Hannibal, The Pledge, MI 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ring and Ring2 and on over a hundred more major motion pictures. Vedvik wrote music for the Norwegian TV Series "Fox Gronland" which won an award for best drama production in Norway.
