A mysterious call for freedom, for life. This track is dominated by an Amapiano bassline and a ’90s pad that contrasts with powerful brass sections, while whale sounds hide throughout the entire track. I wanted to express our call to nature, which responds loud and clear, yet we struggle to hear it. Inspired by Fatoumata Diawara's track "Sowa," I decided to completely restyle it with my own voice, giving it a more nostalgic vibe as summer comes to an end. We are living in a mysterious and nostalgic era, leaving behind an old reality. This is my first track that I can truly call "radiophonic"—very easy to listen to and super catchy. Usually, when I listen to music, I prefer very minimalistic compositions with three elements playing around. However, when it comes to production, since it's my only way of expressing my personality, the process becomes a proper chaos. I use the whole process to channel my emotions through a DAW. The sound palette is overall deep and focused on the low-end range, while still allowing space for the brass section to shine.
