Ronald Van Deurzen is a pianist and soundtrack composer from The Netherlands, living in Sweden. Ronald has been working for the game and film industry as composer. "Imaginations" is Ronald Van Deurzen's New Age album, blending soothing solo piano with orchestral accompaniment, soundscapes and Celtic influences. "Imaginations" is an album of exploration and relaxation. Although being mainly piano-driven New Age, "Imaginations" borrows elements from other genres like orchestral film-score, jazz, Celtic and Nordic folk-music. The songs have been composed throughout the years of Ron's journey while immigrating and integrating into the Scandinavian country of Sweden. A country of forests, lakes, frost, snow and ethereal sunrises. The album reflects this journey of transformation, ambition, observation, self-reflection and concurrently tries to communicate the staggering beauty that can be experienced in this far northern area of the world.
