TATATEO is the musical collaboration between singer/songwriter Matteo Lovik and vocalist Tatyana Schmid. It is a folk/harmony/duet project based out of the Bay Area that is raw, alive and filled with emotion. The base of their sound is two voices and acoustic guitar, and at times they feature cello, violin and percussion. From songs confronting their own difficulties and growth in love to songs about the inevitable cycle of life, nature and that which we have lost, their individual voices and sound come alive when pressed so intimately together. They have played shows around the Bay Area, as well as have performed multiple years at the Climate Ride. They recorded two EP's and did a National tour with another Bay Area band called Mount Saint Elias.

This album would not have been possible without the level balancing, knob turning knowledge of recording engineer Jacob Winik at Tiny Telephone. The whimsical percussive wanderings of Andrew Maguire and the spontaneous string magic from Nathan Blaz (cello) and Graham Patzner (violin, piano) and from the support of viewers like you.
