简介
Biography The members of Clockwork have three very different personalities and musical styles that they each showcase in their own creative way from song to song. Known for their high-energy stage show, the group has a unique Northwest sound that is derived from multiple different musical influences including Funk, Reggae, Soul, Rock and Pop. Clockwork strives to show their versatility and creativity in everything they do. As a group their styles compliment each other to create an unforgettable blend of music and as individuals, their characters are filled with complexities and simplicities that match the flow of their songs. Miguel Rockwell began B-boying at age 5 and started rhyming in 1988. Born and raised in Seattle, Rockwell is known for his rapid fire delivery and blend of amusing one-liners and pop culture references. Mixing his Latin heritage and flare on the mic, Rockwell delivers a refreshing sound for today's hip-hop listeners. Born in Cuerna Vaca Mexico, Take One blends street cred with a polished flow. Having been heavily influenced by early, hard-core hip hop, Take One is known for his thought provoking, inner-city point of view, which can be felt throughout every verse that he pens. He and Rockwell met in 1989 and started their rhyming career together recording over Run DMC 12” instrumentals. In 2000 Lace Cadence re-connected with the other two members of Clockwork, who he knew from highschool, lending his catchy hooks and melody-infused rhythms and verses to the mix. Lace’s Seattle upbringing exposed him to underground hip-hop music that helped to mold his unique style. Lace is also a seasoned producer and member of Blastoff Productions, a global production crew that provides most of the soundtrack for Clockwork albums and which has producers based out of locations ranging from Vancouver BC, Seattle and New York to Stockholm, Sweden.
