Cody Hamilton started out playing bluegrass and country music on the guitar when he was 13 years old. At age 14 he picked up the banjo and mandolin. By age 15 he had written his first songs and started his own band, Cody Hamilton and The Reformation. After playing lead guitar for three years with the bluegrass gospel trio Three Apart, Cody began concentrating most of his efforts towards developing his songwriting talent. The culmination of these years of practice and hard work has finally arrived in his first full album, Southern Symphony.

His bluegrass and traditional country roots as well as an understanding of modern presentations shine on every track. Assisted by Laura Lee singing harmony and Clint Nygard on bass guitar, Cody plays every other instrument heard and sings all of the lead vocal parts. Each song is either written or arranged by Cody himself.

This album is sure to rekindle the affinity for yesterday's country music in your heart, as well as leave you anticipating Cody Hamilton's further musical contributions.
