简介
Making Money Inspiration of this composition came out from a movie “Kagbeni” and somehow also got inspired by another movie “Caravan”. Beautiful landscapes and the innocent faces of my own country and people inspired me with my own version of vision and story; A young Sherpa starts of his business and sets of with yaks with his goods and products. On the way, he dreams about his future, with lots of hopes and dreams of wealth and happiness. He passes through narrow and unsafe paths with the smile on his face. Living on 21st century somehow I feel, we all still have that young Sherpa living inside us. No matter how educated we are we still have that savageness within us, we still have that innocence inside as we all do pass through the narrow and unsafe paths of our life and still have smile on our face thinking about better tomorrow, don’t we? Walking alone July 2008 Bungy @ last resort, a trip to remember; celebrating a birthday of a dear friend Manish, getting drunk and so on. Everyone agreed to do the world’s highest Bungy, so did I. well I’m not that scared of height and I honestly don’t think it’s stupid to jump of the bridge, I think it’s cool. I went to edge but somehow I couldn’t do it. I probably didn’t tried too hard and as well I wanted to enjoy it not just jump and scare a sh*t out of myself. In spite of all the ragging and satyrs I survived that day with guilt inside me. Walking alone is the track expressing that very specific moments of guilt and being lost within you. This composition for me has that pain of being left alone, an endeavor to discover you back, this composition is a friend to whom I shared my feelings. As I said earlier small thing on our life makes difference. The issue of not jumping off the bridge is not a big one but the feeling that you feel is a big. This makes you realize that you are living. Cheers to life and as well to my brothers and friends. Raga Baghshwori Whenever I listen to this raga it has always pushed me and took me to the place bringing me the joy. Tunes of the notes on this raga brings me innocent smile on my face and tells me everything is going to be alright giving me a shoulder to lean. For me, beautiful Esraj played by Santosh in this track speaks my heart, whereas flute is giving me the strength to stand and telling me everything is going to be alright again. At last out of my dark loneliness it cheers me up to live my life at fullest. Well I’m not frustrated or a retard or anything ha-ha, but sometime, somehow you need someone to tell you “Everything is going to be alright” and to bring a smile on your face. So if you don’t have anyone when you need I’m always there for you, through this music to keep you smile forever. A Day in Love Every beginning has an end; everything that starts has to finish somewhere, somehow. A day in love is track with the feeling of loneliness, feeling of falling in love and feelings of splitting apart from your loved one. I have tried to sync. All the feels in this track where two people meet, falls in love and at the end split away but no matter how far they apart from each other love never fades away never dies and always remains inside our heart and soul. Dum Maro Dum (Re-visited) “Hare Ram Hare Krishna” bollywood movies shoot at Nepal back at 70s, talking about Charas (hashish) and ganja (Marijuana), had a soundtrack named “Dum Maro Dum”. Great R.D. Burman, composer of this song had the tune so fluent and enigmatic even if you don’t smoke any pots makes you feel high. But at the same time it had that vibe that strikes your heart beat. I have tried to boost that base of the song on this track adding up some meaningless words and more enigmatic voice and flute on it. For me this track is a piece of work but… every tunes speaks something right? So it for you to decide what it says to you…. May be you can email me about it…. Waiting for Solution My motherland Nepal is going through lots of troubles with everything; political, economical, educational, natural and so on. Every evening I come back home and turn on my TV, all I hear are people getting killed, protests, and clashes and so on and so on. Well! I’m waiting for Solution. I have tried to portrait those feelings of Nepalese hearts, waiting for better day to come, with no hate and pain but only peace and love. Looking at my motherland makes me feel hard to believe how it had changes and how it’s pushed to some place where it doesn’t belong. Nepal, birth place of Lord Buddha, Land of Mt. Everest, a heaven on earth, is getting torn apart. Kala Chakra Kala Chakra, also known as wheel of life, is a story of every human being in this world. He/she takes birth on this world. He/she is born with different destiny, different talent and different ability. He/she goes through ups and downs of life and travels through different phases of life. From the age of 20 to 45 he/she work full power and goes on with whatever he needs to do. Finally, he/she reaches older age where suffering from different physical problems, different disease, his/her suffering and struggle never ends but he/she always enjoys life. So let’s celebrate life, all we have is one life, one love and one celebration. Kala Chakra, a never ending wheel of life. This track is dedicated to my dear friend’s father, late. Lalan Rauniyar, may your soul rest in peace. Lastly, I’m humbly thankful towards all those things, trips, events and peoples whom I came across throughout making this album, for being Inspiration and giving heart to these notes and compositions. I dedicate it to you all.
