In the summer of 2016 Mark Britton's plans of recording his next collection of 60s-inspired guitar pop tracks came to a sudden halt when he broke his finger. Instead he turned to electronica and samples, weaving together an all together different sound, more in keeping with early Beck or Groove Armada. Cuban Heels introduces us to his first experiment, a brave move likely to challenge existing fans of Mark's melodic power pop. Is this a temporary detour or something more permanent?
