In their first collaboration, Yasmin Bauer (Bad Cervix, Girls With Guns) and John Dole (Precious Mud, Monkey Navigated Death Machine) speak to the feeling of a lost summer. Yasmin Bauer: Vocals, John Dole: Music and Lyrics Yasmin [Maffud] Bauer is a singer, pianist, bassist, songwriter, whose influences range from Mozart to AC/DC to Annie Lenox to the Verve and much rock music and new wave in between. She co-founded the New Haven punk-rock/grunge band "Bad Cervix" sang and played bass and performed at local venues, including New York's "Continental Divide" until she decided to venture out to the West Coast. In San Francisco, she met the daughter of guitar player "Snakefinger" (aka Phil Lithman of "The Residents") and formed punk-pop band "Girls With Guns". Yasmin continued to play bass and write the music, and the music gained the attention of well known local band "Green Day" who billed themselves under a different name and invited the group to open for them at a handful of venues in Southern California in 2008, including The Roxy Theatre. Yasmin, currently living in Minneapolis, is writing music and playing piano for a new band she is forming with husband Donovan. John Dole is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer that has been writing and producing independent music since he was 12 years old. He gigged and recorded with Bebe Buell (Liv Tyler's mother), he fronted and co-wrote for "Monkey Navigated Death Machine", warmed up the new millennium in collaboration with Tom Von Doom and Kim Ricky on "3D Models" and has now returned to his roots with long time collaborator Leo Pearl in "Precious Mud".
