This is the debut album of a new Canadian artist. David Alter has been an established songwriter for years, having received recognition for many of his songs through radio singles and international awards. His stylistic melodies and mature lyrics have been compared to some of the greatest composers of our generation. But David’s journey has taken him through different pathways and life experiences than those more traditionally seen in the music world.

“Songs for Sale” is a 10-track adult contemporary album complete with melodic “timelessness” and nostalgia. The album, produced by George Koller, features prominent Canadian artists, including Gregory Hoskins, Kathryn Rose, Yvan Pedneault, and many others. “Songs for Sale” will take you through an introspective look at the pursuit of a dream that has been mired in, and shaped by, the circuitous peaks and valleys of life. The album symbolizes the personal journey of the songwriter himself, whose dreams were always big, but sometimes seemed beyond grasp.
