Karla Gransted aspires to be a jazz singer and Henry Thorvald would like to build a new church. Their ambitions get them mixed up in the world of bootleggers and gangsters in 1920s St. Paul. Can two naive Norwegian immigrants make it in the big city? The CD features well known local Madison vocalists and musicians, including Kelly DeHaven, Dave Cooper, Michael Butkus-Bomier, Jeff Eckles, and Joan Wildman and others. The musical premiered at Bravehearts Theatre in Madison and played to sold out audiences.
