简介
Juan Peron’s Hand concerns a Chicago tollbooth collector, Dirk, who is convinced by his wife, Gayle, to pursue leads she found in her masters thesis on Juan Perón. She convinces her husband to finance a trip to Argentina so she can find the Perón gold. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, the couple meets up with Victor and Consuela whom they hope will guide them along the path that Gayle believes will lead them to the gold. Along the way the foursome encounter all sorts of entanglements, twists and turns set to a score influenced by Argentinian tangos and Latin rhythms. Juan Peron’s Hand premiered in production at the Northtown Arts Center in Chicago in 2002. The cast included Anita Hillin, Kelli Ann Glaser, Steven Price and Philip Seward and was performed to accompaniment by Lori Lyn Mackie, piano, and Dirk Van Brussel, percussion.
