Today I have completed my CD "Father To Son" which is dedicated to my dad. It is a combination of easy listening songs as well as praise music. It is a great opportunity to introduce your friends to music that ministers to the heart and soul. It is a mixture of musical styles to keep your attention and the themes are varied. The first song on the CD is about someone very special to me, my sister. She lacks confidence in herself, and what I wanted to do was let her know just how special she is to me and God. I've been told by other's that they to can relate to this song. In November 2001, I had the opportunity to perform week long at the Christian Overcomer's Camp in Pennsylvania. I was deeply touched and moved to see such broken people filled with the joy of the Lord, singing and worshipping with all their hearts to God. I had gone to bless them and they in turn blessed me and gave me clarity as to my purpose. Since then I have decided to focus in music mininistry for the Lord. I am a worship leader at The First Reformed Church of the Palisades in Fort Lee and perform at various coffee houses and special events through out the metro area. My live performances include a lot of new material, as well as songs from the Father to Son CD. I also enjoy playing popular worship songs and some Christian pop songs. My band is called Joe Wamsley and Friends because I have the distinct priveledge of having some talented friends who love to worship the Lord with me.
