The album name 'One Foot in the Groove' sums up the members of Whiskey Business - we are all on the other side of 40. All four members are seasoned musicians, and we perform a range of styles including bluegrass, country and rockabilly. Joan Brown - accordion. Jen Calthrop - guitar, vocals, piano and accordion. Peter Flower - mandolin, guitar and vocals. Maura Flower - vocals, flute, kazoo and percussion. We all live in rural Northland, New Zealand. The recording was done by Bill Rogers of Mercury Sound
