Colette Call is an award-winning pianist who earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Utah, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has performed as a soloist throughout Europe, Israel and the U.S. and was a featured guest artist with the Utah Philharmonic Symphony, BYU Chamber Orchestra, Rick's College Symphony and University of Utah Symphony. Colette has released three CD's, two of solo piano (SIMPLE PLEASURES and REPOSE) and POWER IN HIS TOUCH, a CD featuring highlights from a stage musical written with her brother J. Michael Call. POWER IN HIS TOUCH premiered in 2005 to sold-out audiences at the Jeanne Wagner Theatre in Salt Lake City and received a Pearl Award for "Best New Holiday Song." The musical has since been produced in three cities to more than 10,000 viewers, receiving critical acclaim from television, radio and newspaper reviews. Colette and Michael teamed up again in 2010 to write a new musical HARRIET (the life of Harriet Tubman). After two successful staged readings in SLC, HARRIET was invited to be presented as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in 2014. The cast of 16 featured 13 Broadway stars including TONY award winner Lillias White. The writers are now looking for a home for the world premiere of HARRIET. Colette works as the Director of Music for the Youth Enrichment Foundation (YEF), a foundation that brings piano lessons to more than 800 children each year who are economically disadvantaged.
