The project Florian Shipke has its origins back in the childhood of the German-born artist Florian Hoffmann. He has started playing drums at the age of 5 and even a few years later electrical guitar got his secondary instrument. Different band projects followed as well as the first attempts with home recording. New influences came with moving to Osnabrueck. His roommate - House DJ for a couple of years - introduced him to the world of electronic music. This was the beginning of what is Florian Shipke today. Quickly, Florian was captured by the sounds of artists like Hannes Fischer, Maribou State, Bonobo, Alle Farben, Talul and many more. But it wasn ́t his intention to copy those sounds, he wanted his own, "handmade" sound. And this is actually what you can hear on his first EP "A.S.C.A" - short form for the identically named, first track "A Spring called Autumn". This Song includes acoustic instruments and convey a happy feeling. The second track is called "Along the Shore" and intercededs a kind of harbor atmosphere mixed with clean guitar chords and a impulsive beat. The last track on this EP is a KlangTherapeuten Remix of Shipkes "A Spring called Autumn" featuring Leonard Bywa on fluegelhorn. Philipp Weidenbach and Felix Adams teamed up to KlangTherapeuten only three years ago and developed to one of the most famous Newcomer in genre Deep- and Melodic House from Germany. Combined with vocals and Leonard Bywa on the fluegelhorn this Remix has got a big potential.
