Mystery Trio is a Rockabilly act from Curitiba, Brazil consisting on Elvis Martinatto (vocal/acoustic guitar), Beto Glaser (electric guitar) and Luiz Fireball (upright bass). The band was formed in the second half of 2007 and it was called 'Flatheads' but in 2009 they changed their name to Mystery Trio, an appropriate pun for Mystery Train, one of the most famous Rockabilly songs recorded by Elvis Presley himself. Since the forming - a three piece trio of acoustic guitar, upright bass and electric guitar - the band began writing and performing original songs that combined elements of the Western Swing, Hillbilly Bop, early Rock n’Roll and Traditional Country to the 1950’s style raw Rockabilly sounds to create their own music. Their brand of traditional 1950’s sound and style kept bringing favorable reviews and in the first half of 2011, the band got a recording deal with Bad Habits Records, the most important brazilian rockabilly record label and now they are really excited to finally be able to unveil their long-awaited first album, "Turn on the key," for people whose thirsting for old time's Rock n' Roll never ends.
