Singer/Songwriter/Actress/Seamstress. Lana was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, to Tracey B. Lindsey; she is one of three children. At the early age of six, Lana joined the church choir where she discovered her love for music. Throughout her youth, she performed in many local talent contests. Lana later moved to Chicago to attend college at the International Academy of Design and Technology where she received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Fashion Design. She continued to pursue her dream by singing hooks for local rappers, and maintaining her voice by taking vocal lessons. Lana then devoting all of her time to the play “Doors” where she co-wrote and performed two original songs, an choreographed a dance scene. Inspired by living legends like Pattie Labelle, Stephanie Mills, Tina Turner, Lauren Hill, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Faith Evans, she believes that her career could one day follow in their paths. She is in it for the longevity and soon her dedication and drive will pay off and help establish her name in the music business and win a Grammy!
