Dan Bohlman began playing the piano at the age of 9. He stopped piano lessons after a couple of months because he felt constrained by reading the music. He began to experiment with various chord progressions and write his own music. During his teenage years he began playing on the worship team for his church and, in 1994, recorded his first music project entitled, I Have Called You Friends. Since then he has released 2 CD projects, Like a Child (1998) and The Present of Time (2002). A future release of his next project will include his daughter, Hosanna Grace. Dan's friends liken his instrumental music to John Tesh and Jim Brickman. His vocal projects have been likened to the sound of Michael W. Smith. Dan gives God all the glory for his music.
