Brooklyn-based Super Hi-Fi mixes trombones, Jamaican dub and touches of afrobeat and funk for a unique and heady mix memorably described as an ‘imaginary soundtrack from Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, The Specials and Led Zeppelin.’ Something of an underground supergroup whose members have played with everyone from Beyonce to Bill Frisell to Donovan, they've been creating waves in the fertile New York music scene since 2010 and have released several acclaimed recordings. These include their debut "Dub To The Bone" (2012), "The Two Four Five EP" (which compiled several 45 releases and other rare tracks from several Electric Cowbell Records releases), two Christmas albums, "Yule Analog Vol. 1" (2014) and "Yule Analog Vol. 2" (2015) and the tribute "Super Hi-Fi Plays Nirvana" (2016).
