Jazz, soul with a touch of latin flavor! "Deep Resonance" is an engaging collection of tunes, mostly original and Waldron's take on a Joni Mitchell song, "Jericho." The album evokes the feeling of being in an intimate setting as this soulful songstress performs just for you. The EP consists mainly of duos with added percussion (Jonathon Peretz) on two tracks. Delightful performances abound by Allen Won (bass flute), Vincent Gardner (trombone), Akua Dixon (cello) & Maurizio Rolli (fretless bass.)
