Wow...! The making of my album “Captivated,” that has been brewing in me for years, this was the most incredible year of my life. Working with an amazing producer; Willie Ray Lewis, to say “life changing,” is a huge understatement for me. Especially coming from a legacy of musicians, I had some huge shoes to fill. I am very excited about “Captivated.” I definitely feel that I have arrived with the direction of my music. I have always linked music together with dance, and I think ballads have their place, but I will always write music that has incredible energy to it. The up-tempo stuff is definitely for me. I remember as kids in school, I guess I call it a “secret club,” we would drag a turn table behind the building and dance to records during recess. I have always connected dance with music. This album “Captivated” is dedicated to my father Al DeLory. More than ever I feel like the torch has been passed.
