Jean Aspen and Tom Irons asked Lindianne to compose additional music for the score of the video documentary Arctic Son; they were remaking the documentary as a memorial for their son Luke. Arctic Son is an extraordinary documentary of one close-knit family's adventure, fifteen months north of the Arctic Circle in Alaska. Luke was seven years old when the documentary was filmed. Luke died in 2012, at the age of 27. To transcend their loss, Jean and Tom re-fashioned Arctic Son into a powerful record of their family adventure and a touching memorial to their son Luke. Lindianne says, "When I was composing I felt Luke's spirit speaking through me." The music evokes the urgency of an Alaskan winter, when the family must complete their log cabin before the snows flies. Winter is Coming! conveys that urgency.
