Hello! Thank you for checking out my music. I am a singer/songwriter and story teller. Raised on a farm in south eastern Ohio. All my songs were written about my own true life experiences. After all, What is the difference between singing a lie, or telling a lie. It is still a lie. I have to have lived it to write it. From gut wrenching sorrow, to uplifting joy. It all comes from a life lived. The genre is hard to pin down, from Folk, Country, Gospel and Bluegrass. I was blessed on this first album to have some of the best musicians in the business play on it. Dave and Chaston Carroll from " Hammertowne " one of the finest Bluegrass bands out there. As well, John Rigsby fiddle player for Dr Ralph Stanley. Also the high harmony by Carrie Johnson of The Velvet Blue. I am a ground floor member of the Columbus Songwriters Association in Columbus Ohio. Competing in monthly showcases there for the past three years. Judges comments have said, " You have a way of separating my soul, from my body! " " You made me cry" and concerning a accapella song " Cold Clay Ground " one judge wrote " Not my thing, but Oh my God amazing! " I have been compared to many in my wide range of styles from, Gordon Lightfoot, John Prine, Guy Clark, Hank Williams and Dr Ralph Stanley from the "Oh Brother Where Art Thou " soundtrack.
