Matheus Macedo began playing guitar between writing short stories and soon began writing his own songs. Influences include Elliott Smith, Neutral Milk Hotel, Cat Stevens, Dead man's bones, The Beatles and a hundred others. "I write songs I like, I write them for myself, I hope others will like them, but I won't write songs for people to like, that's what top 40 is for."
