Cees Nieuwenhuizen is world famous for his reconstructions and completions of works by Ludwig Van Beethoven. Nieuwenhuizen studied piano, composition and music theory in Alkmaar (The Netherlands) and subsequently at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (The Netherlands). There he studies piano with Else Krijgsman and composition with the Dutch composers Daan Manneke and Simeon ten Holt. After he graduated in 1982 Nieuwenhuizen established himself as an independent composer. In 2007 he wrote his sixth and seventh sonata for piano. In july of August 2014 it he has recorded them in the Upstream Music Studio's. Enjoy listening!
