This song is about what it is like to be single and want the girl you want. But she loves someone else. It's about meeting new people at school or at the club but still being the one unloved at the end of the night. It's a song everyone can relate to because we all have had relationships that we hoped worked and did not. It is also about new love and trying to convince your new love parents that you are the one to make that person happy.
