Her sound is raw, real and has a story behind it. Lyrical poetess and songwriter Liwanika “Treci” Banks born and raised on the Southside of Chicago began to develop a conscious of her strong desire to harmonize soulful tunes as young as the age of 7. Raised in a family full of musical talents, Treci was so inspired to pursue her love for music, that she asker her mother if she could go to church to join the choir at the Unity Church of God in Christ. Since 1999, Treci has song melodies that capture the essence of moments with passion while uplifting the hearts of anyone who hears her.

Treci’s desire and harmonic tones has allowed her to travel across the united States singing for various churches, weddings, funerals as well as sing along with the Clark Sisters. In 2002, Treci moved to California to focus on her musical endeavors. In effort to gain recognition as a soulful, simplistically complex, beautifully flawed yet talented vocalist and songwriter Treci moved back to Chicago and is currently working with Kay Jay of Ksoundd productions in the release of her new album.
