Johnie Guerra wrote and co-wrote songs for two bands before deciding to venture out on his own to write and record his own original songs. This album is the result of his venture. Working with local musicians and utilizing two local studios he was able to produce the music he heard in his imagination and felt in his heart. "The Phony" is directed in anger to the murderer of an influential hero and "The Gift" is a dedication to family members living through trying times.
