简介

King Sesame- Sipping on Patron Sipping on Patron is a really mellow tune about the joys of getting a buzz from the popular alcoholic beverage Patron and its lingering affects after ingestion. A powerful illustration of what one feels while under the influence. Also what one may eventually anticipate doing while indulging or rather “Sipping on Patron”. “King Sesame is an indie-rap artist Born in Brooklyn New York. He has travelled to and was raised in London , Lagos and Los Angeles.” Those who know King Sesame 's best, have described him as a survivor. He lived through several (near-death) car accidents, been shot at and had experienced homelessness. He’s persevered through life’s trials. This, coupled with his support of his crew Roca boys Family, has allowed him to flourish as a rapper in the Los Angeles area. In this feature He’s prepping a debut mixtape, Lovers Trap , due out early of 2016. Check out his single “Sipping on Patron” written and produced by Johnny and Jojo crown. King Sesame has cleverly portrayed a synonymous description of an average ‘Stoner’… Everything looks good. Good enough to eat. I especially like the flow of adjectives that describe the object of ‘The Patron’ and the subject, that sexy woman… Also being ‘in the zone’, makes for some good fun! But ‘…No drinking and driving…’ King Sesame managed to convey the act of being responsible while having fun subtlety but effective enough to make it a point to mention. Which is an admirable trait in a fantastic artist! The word-play is outstanding! “…captivating, elevating…” enough to get some party people up and expressing their own way of being zone out. The intro is a mixture of keyboards synths and bells to give the track a ‘dream-like’ or ‘zoned-out’ vibe and sound. Sort of Twilight-Zone drift and the vocals are smooth. Also a periodic; “We Happy” can be heard in between selected verses, in the background which kind of gives you a glimpse of how studio life for the artist is. The thought process and imagination gets a boost. I like this track, think is a ‘club banger’ and it can be a tribute to the infamous Patron manufacturers. Perhaps even coming from a car stereo on some movie about ‘The Hood’. I’m sure the influence of living in several parts of the world and adapting the culture gives the track a genuine nature that makes the listener anticipate more. I am looking forward to more great music from King Seame. Like ‘Grrreat’ and ‘HAve u seen her?’, two more songs in his debut album that the artist has completed and begins his discography. Well done and right on time to celebrate the upcoming New Year perhaps with a ‘Shot of Patron’ to sip on while you and your shorty bring the New Year in with a Buzz instead of a Bang!
