Shadowland is a dark metal project from Malmö, Sweden, featuring elements of gothic, doom, death, thrash, black and progressive metal. It was founded in 2015 by Patrick Shadowland, the man behind Desoluna, Desolate and Clapatria. Mikael Häll (ex-Sleeping Majesty) is performing and important part of the growls and deep vocals, while Patrick Shadowland stands for the rest of the growls, clean vocals, lead and rhythm guitars, bass, keyboards, drum programming and producing. The debut album of Shadowland is the 7-track "Condemned to Perdition". The Swedish artist Mathias Karlsson made the front cover. Nadia Montes, lead vocalist from Desoluna, also performs on some tracks. The lyrics identifies the darker sides of mankind, and especially takes up issues as failed politics, injustice, spiritual confusion, loss, sadness and anger.
