2tone Records come with a huge ninth release from one very talented producer, Lee Pearce. He has really produced a solid, unique sound for 2tone and the house scene in general. First, he leads the EP with 'Never Alone' and does not disappoint! Bringing his garage influenced drums and bass line, this track definitely rolls with its catchy, dark, vocal. Following 'Never Alone', 2tone Records' co-manager, Harry Ley, brings a huge twist to the release with his very dark and minimal remix. This one will rumble a big sound system for sure! Next we have 'If Speakers Could Speak' which really does exactly what it says on the tin. Bringing a really colourful mix with a deep, rolling bass line to carry the track through the parties. If you didn't think the first three tracks were enough, then Lee comes with great verity to the EP with 'Massive For The Acid'. With Lee's original drum sound, he has a different approach with a classic 303 acid bass line to bring even more originality to the release! And finally he concludes his EP with 'I Believe'. A deep, relaxed and more stripped-back mix to his other tracks. This one shows Lee Pearce is capable of bringing a wide verity to his releases without taking away the original sound, telling a story from the first to last track.
