Harvey : Guitar Smutty Smith : Bass Mike Osbourne : Drums The Rockats were the first neo-rockabilly band when they burst unto the scene in 1977 with their singer Levi Dexter as "Levi & The Rockats". Bands like "The Stray Cats" and "The Polecats" formed in their wake. Levi left the band in 1979 and the Rockats continued without him, first doing a "Live At The Ritz" Album in 1981 and then a breakout 1983 hit "mini-LP" on RCA "Make That Move". Because of management and internal problems they decided to disband in 1984 and gave their farewell concert May 25, 1984 at The Ritz. They have since had reunion shows in both the USA, Europe and Japan and even did a reunion album in 2013 on Lanark records.
