Gabriela Tanner Bandleader, Composer, Vocal Educated as singer and composer at the Berklee College of Music, Boston and the Boston Conservatory. Received an award at the "Annual Songwriting Competition" and the "Solo and Ensemble Award" in Boston. In 1996 she composed and produced her own CD "Ueberseebrief" following which, she went on tour in Switzerland. Manager of the arts at the theater Ludwig in Zurich. Director of music for the production "Das grosse Heft" at the Zurich theater Festival in 1996. 1997 saw the premier of her own program "Herzland", which she produced and directed. She was responsible for Project Management and Musical Direction at the theater "Orpheus" in Zurich. In 1998 she performed with the duo "Cache Coeur". Musical contribution to the theater production of "Der Fall" from Albert Camus at the Sogar Theater in Zurich. With the Gabriela Tanner Chanson Quartet she has produced her own program, namely "Sag nicht immer Sie zu mir". 1999 saw the premier of the Gabriela Tanner Jazz Quintet with the program "Orange Juice for One". 2000 Composition and realisation of a large musicproject in the monastery Katharinental with the titel "Katharinas Laughter" 2002 Special guest tour with the Swiss Swing Time Big Band. 2004 Chamber Jazz Trio. 2005 Gabriela Tanner Jazz+4 2007 "Nearer, Ballads" intimate Jazzballads CD production.
