Pietu is a oneman project based in Stockholm by songwriter Pietu Kaipainen. Pietus earlier musical projects were mostly in a collaborative form (South Ambulance etc.) but he recently stumbled on his own musical voice. The music paints the mental landscapes of the songwriter and varies from shorter instrumentals (soundtracks, film or commercials etc.) to more traditional lyrically based music. The creational keyword is: reaching for simplicity in its fullest complexity.
