Recording artist Lydell Lucky has been in the media alot lately. He pled guilty to a Federal charge and is awaiting sentencing in July. In the meantime Lydell is gearing up for his upcoming album titled "Fly Free Zone". It features his new single called "Get Lifted " and is getting played on the radio stations across the country. According to the "Dallas Morning News" the Hip Hop artist faces up to 15 years if convicted. Lydell Lucky had to cancel his 15 city " Get Lifted' tour till futher notice. He adamantly stands outside the box and describe his music as being universal. While expressing his music without cursing,promoting violence or drug dealing. He feels those three subjects only bring the quality of music down and hurt the younger listeners, due to their negative connotations. Its always nicte to happen upon new talent in the Hip-Hop industy and its even better to be able to introduce that new talent to readers.

Lydell has gained fans and made his on lane for selling music. Jumping on the airwaves in 2009 with his hit "Here We Go", which was heavily played in states like California, Florida and Texas. Landed him on the Billboard Charts. In a recent blog interview the question came up about him pleading guilty to a Fedearal Charge. He states " Only the future knows whats going to happen" and no further comment. Besides all the controversy Lydell continues to make music. And the tour will continue after the legal troubles are over with. And having survived numerous trials and tribulations, he is determined to keep pushing forward on his Hip-Hop journey.Lydell is just telling his story of a regular guy who decided to pursue music and is one of the few who cares about his rhymes and at the end of the day just wants respect.
