This CD was born when I was struggling with a choice in life. It was a simple choice. Should I relocate to Cincinnati where I was born and where most of my family live, or Sedona Arizona, where my spirit calls me. In the end I decided to stay in Salt Lake City where i have lived most of my adult life. But the inspiration I received from that conflict is the result of this CD.

Half of this CD are original compositions, while the other half reflects my diverse musical taste. 'Asturias' by Albeniz is the composition that pulled me into the classical guitar. 'Foggy Mountain Breakdown' has always been a composition dear to me from listening to my father playing Bluegrass while going on long road trips to visit my Grandmother in Kentucky. Bach is One of my favorite classical (Baroque) composers and this is one of his iconic compositions and one of my favorite to play. Fernando Sor was one of the first composers for the classical guitar and the two compositions I chose are perhaps his most well know.

Mixing my orignal compositions and the classical music which I love is a reflection of my musical journey.
